Mirrors Beyond Africa is a Nairobi-based luxury tour operator designing bespoke safaris across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and the Indian Ocean. Our team of naturalists, cultural guides and journey architects grew up knowing this land as home — not as a destination. We know which Mara conservancy holds the migration before the crowds arrive, which Amboseli suite frames Kilimanjaro at dawn, and which guide reads leopard tracks like scripture.

Planning a journey to Africa raises meaningful questions. We've answered the ones our travellers ask most — and we're always a call away for the rest.
Kenya is extraordinary year-round, but July–October is peak season for the Great Migration river crossings in the Masai Mara, when 1.5 million wildebeest cross the Mara River. January–February offers excellent wildlife viewing with fewer crowds and better rates. The short dry season (January–February) is particularly good in Amboseli.
