    Depart Nairobi at 07:00. Drive west past Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley — stop at the escarpment viewpoint (900m drop) for photographs and orientation. Arrive the Masai Mara by 13:00. Check into your tented camp or lodge. Lunch. 15:30 afternoon game drive: first Mara encounters — lion prides, elephant groups, hippo pods in the Mara River. Sundowner on the plains.

    Full Day in the Masai Mara

    05:45 wake-up. 06:00 dawn game drive. Mara River crossing attempt (July–October): thousands of wildebeest piling up on the bank, crocodiles waiting in the shallows. Bush picnic lunch on the plains. Afternoon: Maasai village cultural visit. Evening game drive. Sundowner. Camp dinner under the stars.

    05:45 for a final dawn game drive — perhaps a cheetah hunt in the golden morning light or a leopard descending from a fig tree. Return for a full breakfast at 09:00. Pack up and depart the Mara by 10:00. Scenic drive back through the Rift Valley. Arrive Nairobi approximately 16:00–17:00. Drop-off at JKIA or hotel.
